Infection Control and Prevention Nurse

Position Summary: The Infection Control and Prevention Nurse is responsible for implementing and monitoring infection control measures within healthcare facilities to prevent and manage the spread of infectious diseases. They develop protocols, educate staff on infection control procedures, investigate outbreaks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. They play a crucial role in safeguarding patient and staff health.
Position Qualifications
Education and Experience:

Nursing degree. Preferred 2 years infection control experience.
License/Certificates:
-
APIC (Association for Professional Infection Control and Epidemiology) certified.
Job Type: 16-32 hours per week, required to work every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday on the nursing floor.
