North Valley Health Center is currently seeking a full-time (40 hrs/week 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) Patient Registration Specialist in our Therapy Department

 

Be the first welcoming point of contact for our Therapy Department. Help patients navigate registration and scheduling while creating a positive, compassionate experience at every visit

Duties include:

Patient Registration & Scheduling

• Welcome patients and visitors

• Register patients and verify demographic information

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments

• Notify therapists promptly of schedule changes

Insurance & Administrative Support

• Verify insurance coverage and obtain required authorizations

• Collect and accurately document patient payments

• Ensure patient information and required forms are accurate and complete

• Process referrals and supporting documentation

• Protect patient privacy and confidentiality

Customer Service & Office Support

• Answer and route telephone calls

• Maintain records and assist with department documentation

• Communicate professionally with patients, families, providers, and staff

• Respond compassionately and efficiently to patient need

Salary range: $17.50-$21.00 per hour, based on relevant experience and qualifications.  Benefit package includes health insurance, health savings account, retirement, paid time off, and life insurance.
